ABOUT

Catching Leaves Productions is a cross-discipline company bringing together

a variety of styles & mediums to create dynamic work.

Our core aims are to:

  • Bring lesser-known and new works with strong female characters to the public.

  • Encourage people to question the world around them.

  • Collaborate to create meaningful work that is relevant & accessible.

In 2010, Ella trained as an actor studying for two years at the Morley College Actors Studio and simultaneously attending method acting classes with practitioners from New York and London. Since then she has been lucky enough to work with some brilliant creative practitioners on stage, in immersive settings and in film.  As well as co-founding Catching Leaves Productions, she has co-produced short films ranging from comedy sketches to ethnographic research outputs, and appeared in fringe shows at the Tristan Bates Theatre, The Rag Factory and the Offbeat Festival in Oxford.

Ella wants to use her creative work to get audiences to reflect on the world around them and ultimately try to make a positive change in the world.

Eve trained as an actor at Morley College Actors Studio, London and the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, NY. She has since enjoyed performing on both stage and film; treading the boards (and in some cases, outdoor fields) at The Bear Kennington, The Hen & Chickens, The young Vic, The Royal Opera House, The Rag Factory and the Lightbulb and Green Gathering Festivals.

In addition to co-founding Catching Leaves Productions and co-producing Fringe shows, she has devised immersive theatre, made short films and also writes.

THE COMPANY TEAM

We’re proud to say that we are not afraid to experiment; and see challenges as opportunities

that can lead to unexpected outcomes. We believe our strengths lie in being open to new ideas and

approaches that question existing boundaries of theatre and film.
